Silicone
controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) are used for the repair
of DC drives.
Please refer to the table for sizing
the ones you need according to horsepower. For a regenerative
drive, you will need 6 each. For a non-regenerative
drive, you will only need 3 each.
We recommended replacing all
SCRs each time any fail as a faulty SCR puts a strain
on the remaining functioning rectifiers.
